HAMRUN, Malta (Interstat) — Hibernians and Zabbar St Patrick played to a thrilling 3-3 draw in a Malta Premier League match Thursday at Victor Tedesco Stadium. The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored the home side. Zabbar St Patrick’s Zean Leonardi scored twice early, including a goal in the ninth minute, to help build a lead. Hibernians mounted a dramatic late comeback with Cleiton scoring in the 85th minute before Jonathan Grech’s stoppage-time equalizer in the second added minute secured the draw. The outcome left both clubs with identical records in league play this season.
