RKC Waalwijk Delivers Stunning Rout in KNVB Beker Women Match

HAARKSBERGEN, Netherlands (Interstat) — RKC Waalwijk delivered a stunning 9-0 rout of HSC 21 in a KNVB Beker Women match Thursday at Sportpark Groot Scholtenhagen, defying a pregame projection of a draw.

Substitute Tim van der Leij led the offensive explosion with a first-half hat trick, scoring in the 15th, 43rd and 45th minutes. Fellow substitutes Chris Lokesa and Jordi Altena each added two goals, while Nazjir Held and Richard van der Venne also scored. The visitors netted three goals in a frantic four-minute span before halftime.

The lopsided result came despite Interstat’s game simulator projecting a 1-1 final. RKC Waalwijk improves to 1-0 in the competition, while HSC 21 opens its season 0-1. Four yellow cards were issued in the match.
