NAIROBI, Kenya (Interstat) — A surging Sofapaka side will look to continue its climb up the FKF Premier League table when it visits a struggling Bandari FC on Saturday.

The match at Mbaraki Sports Club in Mombasa pits two Kenyan top-flight clubs on divergent early-season trajectories. Sofapaka (3-1-2) enters the contest in strong form, coming off a 2-0 home victory over Posta Rangers on Monday. That win extended its unbeaten run to three matches.

In contrast, Bandari FC (1-1-2) has found goals hard to come by. The dockers are winless in their last three outings, most recently a 1-1 draw with Kenya Commercial Bank FC. Their lone victory this season was a 3-1 result against Murang’a SEAL on Oct. 4.

Sofapaka’s attack has been potent, netting three goals in a win over Nairobi United FC and two in each of its last two victories. Bandari’s defense, however, has been resolute at home, conceding only once in two league matches at Mbaraki.

The Interstat game simulator projects a 1-1 draw. Following this match, Sofapaka will host Ulinzi Stars FC on Nov. 22, while Bandari travels to face Bidco Utd on Nov. 23.
