TIRANA, Albania (Interstat) — A place in the next round of the Albanian Cup is on the line Wednesday when Burreli hosts Kastrioti Krujë in a Round of 16 match.

The fixture at Burreli’s home ground pits a home side coming off a decisive victory against a visiting squad known for its high-scoring, albeit inconsistent, performances.

Burreli heads into the match with momentum, having defeated KF Shiroka 3-1 in its most recent outing on Oct. 15.

Kastrioti Krujë, meanwhile, arrives following a wild 3-2 victory over Devolli on the same date. The club’s season has been defined by offensive fireworks, including a remarkable 7-7 draw with Kukësi and a 3-3 draw with Tirana, both on Sept. 13.
