Independiente vs Rosario Central

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Interstat) — A surging Rosario Central visits an inconsistent Independiente on Saturday in a Primera Nacional clash of Argentine clubs heading in opposite directions.

The match at Estadio Libertadores de América will feature a Central side that has climbed the table with a league record of 10-1-7, good for 37 points. Independiente, a historic giant of the Argentine game, has struggled to a 6-6-4 record (22 points) in the domestic competition.

Central enters on a six-match unbeaten streak across all competitions, including five wins. Their most recent result was a 0-0 draw with Almagro on Nov. 7. Prior to that, they secured impressive victories over Instituto AC Cordoba, Sarmiento, and Platense.

Independiente snapped a three-match winless skid with a 1-0 victory over Deportivo Riestra on Monday. Their form has been erratic, mixing dominant 3-0 wins over Platense and Atletico Tucuman with scoreless draws and narrow losses.

In their last head-to-head meeting on March 14, Independiente defeated Rosario Central 2-0 at home. However, Interstat’s game simulator projects a high-scoring affair for the rematch, forecasting a 3-2 victory for the visiting Rosario Central.

Kickoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025.
