RIO DE JANEIRO (Interstat) — Flamengo defeated RB Bragantino 3-0 on Saturday in a Carioca Série A match at Estadio Jornalista Mário Filho. Giorgian De Arrascaeta broke a scoreless stalemate with a goal in the 50th minute, and Bruno Henrique added a second in the 72nd. The decisive victory defied a pregame projection that had forecast a 1-1 draw, instead handing Flamengo a winning start to its domestic campaign while Bragantino began its season with a loss.
