CAIRO (Interstat) — Petrojet and ENPPI played to a 1-1 draw Friday in an Egyptian Premier League match at Petrosport Stadium in Kattameya.

Petrojet forward Bader Mousa opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time. ENPPI substitute Ahmed Khalil Kalosha equalized in the 57th minute, assisted by midfielder Adham Hamed. Hamed received a yellow card one minute prior to the tying goal.

The match was disrupted by a red card shown to Petrojet’s Mohamed Ali Okasha in the 33rd minute. The result left both teams with identical records in league play: zero wins, zero losses and one draw. The outcome defied a pregame projection that heavily favored Petrojet to win.
