Saturn Naberezhnye Chelny vs Krylya Sovetov
MOSCOW (Interstat) — Krylya Sovetov will look to carry momentum from a significant league victory into the Cup in Russia when they visit second-tier side Saturn Naberezhnye Chelny on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025.
The visiting Samara-based club is coming off a 2-0 home win against FK Rostov in the Premier League this past Sunday. That result provided a boost for a team that has struggled for consistency, having recorded a 1-1 draw with Zenit Saint Petersburg on Nov. 9 but a 4-0 loss to Dinamo Moscow on Oct. 22 in its recent fixtures. Their form has been a mix of resilient draws and narrow defeats against top-flight competition.
Saturn, competing in the FNL, has not played a competitive match in nearly a month. Its last outing was a 0-0 draw with Chelyabinsk on Oct. 28. Prior to that, the club earned a 3-1 victory over Chayka on Oct. 15.
The matchup is a classic cup test, pitting a Premier League side against a lower-division opponent at the latter’s home ground. According to the Interstat game simulator, Saturn is projected to pull off a minor upset with a 1-0 victory.
Following the cup tie, Krylya Sovetov returns to Premier League action with a visit to Krasnodar on Nov. 30.
