TEL AVIV, Israel (Interstat) — MK Maccabi Netanya delivered a shocking 6-0 victory over MS Bnei Jaffa Ortodoxim in a State Cup Women match Friday at Shkhunat Hatikva Stadium. The result defied a pregame projection that heavily favored the home side. Oz Bilu opened the scoring in the 16th minute, followed by goals from Gontie Diomande and Heriberto Tavares before halftime. Basam Zaarura scored twice in quick succession early in the second half, and Matheus Davó completed the rout in the 83rd minute. The lopsided win improved Netanya’s record to 1-0 in the competition, while Bnei Jaffa Ortodoxim fell to 0-1. The outcome was a stark contrast to statistical models that gave the home team an 80 percent chance to win.
