Preview: State Cup Women’s Match Set for Friday

JERUSALEM (Interstat) — A State Cup women’s football matchup on Friday features MS Dimona hosting MK Hapoel Kfar Saba in a round of 32 clash.

The game is scheduled for Dec. 26, 2025, at a venue to be determined in Dimona.

Dimona enters the contest with positive recent form. The club advanced in the cup with a 1-0 home victory over Maccabi Ironi Amishav Petah Tikva on Oct. 29. Their league results this season also show strength, including a 3-1 road win at MK Ironi Or Yehuda on Sept. 30 and a 1-0 home victory over Hapoel Azor on Aug. 28.

Historical data for the visiting Hapoel Kfar Saba was not immediately verifiable. The provided result from Jan. 1, 1970, precedes the establishment of organized women’s football in Israel and is not recognized as official.

Despite Dimona’s current run, statistical projections favor the visitors. Interstat’s game simulator forecasts a narrow 1-0 victory for MK Hapoel Kfar Saba.

The State Cup, organized by the Israel Football Association, is the country’s premier knockout tournament. Friday’s winner will advance to the round of 16.
