TULSA, Okla. (Interstat) — FC Tulsa opened its USL Championship season with a commanding 3-0 victory over New Mexico United on Saturday at ONEOK Field. Forward Taylor Calheira led the attack, scoring a first-half brace with goals in the 39th and 57th minutes. Midfielder Jamie Webber added a third goal in the 76th minute to seal the win for the home side. The result defied a pregame projection that favored New Mexico.
