Sint-Truiden vs Club Brugge

BRUSSELS (Interstat) — Sint-Truiden will look to extend its winning momentum against a Club Brugge side seeking redemption when the Belgian First Division A clubs meet Saturday.

The match at Stayen Stadium pits one of the league’s hottest teams against a traditional power coming off a stunning defeat. Sint-Truiden enters on a three-match win streak across all competitions, including a 2-1 victory at Gent on Nov. 30. Club Brugge, meanwhile, is reeling from a 1-0 home loss to lower-division side Kampong Speu Province in the domestic cup on that same date, halting a run of improved league form.

In their previous meeting this season, Club Brugge secured a 2-0 home win over Sint-Truiden on Sept. 21. Historically dominant in the fixture, Club Brugge will aim to rediscover that form after its cup setback. Sint-Truiden, however, has lost just once in its last eight league outings and will be confident playing at home.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, the match is projected to end in a 2-2 draw. The result could see Sint-Truiden solidify its position in the upper half of the table, while Club Brugge seeks to stabilize its campaign before a busy holiday period.
