DAYTON, Ohio (Interstat) — The Dayton Flyers and Rhode Island Rams played to a 0-0 draw in an NCAA women’s soccer match Sunday.

Defenses dominated as neither team could break through in the contest, which was witnessed by 572 fans. The result leaves Dayton with a 10-2-3 record, while Rhode Island moves to 9-3-2. The Flyers controlled the previous meeting 2-0 on Oct. 26. Both teams utilized numerous substitutions in a physical match that failed to produce a goal.
