DURHAM, N.H. (Interstat) — The New Hampshire Wildcats and the Maryland-Baltimore County Retrievers played to a 0-0 draw in an NCAA men’s soccer match Saturday. The defensive stalemate defied pregame projections that heavily favored the Wildcats to win. A sparse crowd of 373 at New Hampshire’s home field saw neither team break through despite numerous second-half substitutions. UMBC, the Retrievers, now holds a 4-1-2 record in NCAA competition, while New Hampshire moves to 3-2-3.
