LEUMEAH, Australia (Interstat) — Substitute Stefan Colakovski scored in the 90th minute to salvage a 2-2 draw for Perth Glory against Macarthur in an A-League match Friday at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Macarthur’s Nicholas Pennington opened the scoring in the 36th minute. Mitch Duke doubled the home side’s lead on the hour mark before Perth’s Callum Talbot cut the deficit in the 71st. Colakovski’s late equalizer split the points.

The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored a Macarthur victory. Both teams opened their A-League seasons with a draw, moving to 0-0-1. Luke Brattan received a yellow card for Macarthur in the 33rd minute.
