Substitute Tom Lawrence’s Hat Trick Powers Perth Glory Past Melbourne City 3‑1

MELBOURNE, Australia (Interstat) — Substitute Tom Lawrence scored three goals Sunday to lead Perth Glory to a 3-1 road victory over Melbourne City in an A-League match at AAMI Park.

Lawrence, who entered the game off the bench, scored in the 10th, 22nd and 80th minutes to dismantle the favored hosts. Andrew Nabbout scored a consolation goal for Melbourne City in the third minute of second-half stoppage time.

Assists for Perth came from Aziz Behich, Giovanni De Abreu and Germán Ferreyra, who along with De Abreu also received yellow cards. Behich was booked for Melbourne City.
