Dartmouth Women Edge Columbia to Claim Ivy League Championship

PRINCETON, N.J. (Interstat) — Stephanie Lathrop scored the game’s only goal to lead Dartmouth to a 1-0 victory over Columbia in the NCAA women’s Ivy League championship game on Thursday.

Lathrop’s decisive strike for the Big Green was assisted by Lourdes Lauterborn. The win secured the conference title for Dartmouth, which finished its league campaign with six wins and three losses. Columbia’s season concludes with two wins, four losses and two draws in Ivy League play. The result mirrored the teams’ regular-season meeting on Oct. 4, which Dartmouth also won 1-0.
