Mary Hardy scored for the Racers, with an assist from Sydney Etter. The result leaves Murray State’s record at 10-1-4, while Illinois-Chicago moves to 7-6-5. The Flames were coming off a three-game winning streak. Attendance was 397 at the Racers’ home venue. Murray State had been projected as a heavy favorite to win.
