BEAUMONT, Texas (Interstat) — The Houston Christian Huskies defeated the Texas A&M-Commerce Lions 4-0 in an NCAA women’s soccer match Tuesday at the LU Soccer Complex.

The Huskies’ offense proved overwhelming, securing a decisive victory in front of 302 fans. The win improves Houston Christian’s record to 10-7-2, while Texas A&M-Commerce falls to 8-5-2. The result defied pregame projections that favored the Lions. The Huskies have now won two consecutive matches against the Lions after a 2-0 victory just five days earlier.
