TURNOVO, North Macedonia (Interstat) — Georgia U19 opened its UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship qualification campaign with a decisive 4-0 victory over Azerbaijan U19 on Monday at Stadion Kukuš.

Substitute Anano Tsikaridze led the rout with two early goals and an assist. Anastasia Buchukuri and Mariami Gogoladze also scored for Georgia, which defied pre-match projections favoring Azerbaijan. The Georgian defense held firm, securing a clean sheet in the Group B match. Azerbaijan struggled to generate offense in the loss.
