PORTIMÃO, Portugal (Interstat) — Iceland U19 delivered a stunning 5-0 upset over Kosovo U19 in a UEFA U19 Championship qualification match on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. All goals came from Iceland substitutes at Estádio Dois Irmãos.

Berglind Hlynsdóttir scored twice, in the 24th and 45th minutes. Ragnheiður Jónsdóttir made it 3-0 in the 63rd minute, with Freyja Stefánsdóttir adding a goal three minutes later. Karlotta Björk Andradóttir completed the rout in second-half stoppage time. Helga Rut Einarsdóttir and Kosovo’s Imeraj Aurela each recorded an assist.

Iceland improved its qualification record to one win and two losses, while Kosovo fell to three losses. The result defied statistical projections that heavily favored Kosovo. Yellow cards were shown to Aurela in the 36th minute and Einarsdóttir in the 90th minute.
