Amman vs Al Ramtha SC
AMMAN, Jordan (Interstat) — A clash of unbeaten sides in the Jordan Cup headlines the domestic football slate Thursday as Amman hosts Al Ramtha SC.
Both clubs enter the knockout-stage fixture with 1-0 records in the competition. The match is a resumption of play for each team, as neither has played since their opening Cup victories in October.
Amman comes in off a dominant 3-0 home win over Ittihad Al Ramtha on Oct. 19. That victory evened their overall record across all competitions at 1-1. Their lone other match this season was a 1-0 loss to Doqarah FC on Sept. 15.
Al Ramtha SC brings a more varied recent form, sporting a 2-2-1 overall record. They earned a narrow 1-0 road victory at Al Sareeh in their Cup opener on Oct. 26, preceded by a staggering 9-0 home win over Talbieh SSC on Oct. 19. However, they also suffered a 3-1 loss to Sahab on Oct. 4 and a 4-3 defeat to Alehdat on Sept. 5.
The Interstat game simulator projects a tightly contested 1-1 draw.
Following this Cup tie, Al Ramtha SC’s next scheduled matches are not until April 2026, with fixtures against Al Hussein in the Shield Cup and Al Faisaly in the Super Cup.
