TARMA, Peru (Interstat) — ADT defeated Los Chankas 1-0 on Monday in a Peruvian Primera División match at Estadio Municipal Unión de Tarma. The lone goal was set up by defender D’Alessandro Montenegro, who assisted on the decisive score. The match was a physical affair, featuring seven yellow cards. Los Chankas played a man down after Ederson Mogollón received a second yellow card in first-half stoppage time. ADT begins its season with a victory, while Los Chankas start with a defeat. The result defied a pregame projection that forecast a draw.
