LONDON (Interstat) — A surging Worthing side will look to avenge a recent defeat when it travels to face Tonbridge Angels in the FA Trophy on Saturday.

The fifth-tier National League South rivals last met on Sept. 20, with Tonbridge Angels securing a 1-0 home victory. That result is a lone blemish on Worthing’s recent record, as the visitors enter this cup tie in formidable form. Worthing is unbeaten in its last six matches across all competitions, including a dominant 4-0 victory over AFC Totton on Tuesday. Its overall season record stands at 8-4-4.

Conversely, Tonbridge Angels has struggled for consistency, with a 5-6-5 overall record. The Angels are winless in their last three outings, most recently a 1-1 draw with Bath City on Tuesday.

This match marks the first FA Trophy fixture for both clubs this season, with their records in the competition sitting at 0-0-0. The Interstat game simulator projects a 1-1 draw.

The winner will advance in the historic knockout competition, while the loser is eliminated.
