BAKU, Azerbaijan (Interstat) — Dinamo Bakı will host Turan on Tuesday at Azərsun Arena in a group stage match of the Cup in Azerbaijan, pitting an undefeated home side against a visiting club riding a wave of momentum.

Dinamo Bakı (1-0-0, Cup) enters the fixture with confidence after a 3-2 victory over Kur-Araz FC in its domestic league opener on Oct. 9. The club will look to build on that performance and maintain its perfect start in the cup competition.

Turan (0-0-0, Cup) presents a formidable challenge, arriving with a perfect 2-0-0 record across all competitions this season. The visitors are coming off a 2-1 road victory against Karvan on Oct. 24, demonstrating their ability to secure results away from home. Their other win was a 1-0 victory at İmişli FK on Aug. 16.

Despite Turan’s strong form, Interstat’s game simulator projects a tightly contested 1-1 draw. The matchup will test Turan’s offensive momentum against a Dinamo Bakı side that has shown it can win a high-scoring affair.

Following Tuesday’s cup tie, Turan’s schedule remains busy, with its next match set for Nov. 2 against Şamaxı FK in the Premyer Liqa.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. local time.
