TULSA, Okla. (Interstat) — Stefan Lukic scored in second-half stoppage time to give FC Tulsa a 1-0 victory over Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in a USL Championship match Saturday at ONEOK Field.

The decisive goal came in the 92nd minute, breaking a deadlock in a physical contest that featured seven yellow cards. Goalkeeper Johan Peñaranda recorded a clean sheet for the hosts.

The win gives FC Tulsa a victory to start its season, while Colorado Springs begins its campaign with a loss. The result defied a national projection that had forecast a 1-1 draw.
