Stranraer vs Clydebank FC

LONDON (Interstat) — Stranraer is set to host Clydebank FC in a SWF Scottish Cup match on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at Stair Park.

The visitors from Clydebank enter the contest looking to rebound from a heavy defeat, having fallen 5-1 at Pollok after extra time on Nov. 1. Prior to that loss, Clydebank’s form was strong, including a 3-1 victory over East Stirlingshire FC on Oct. 25 and a 4-0 road win against Jeanfield Swifts on Sept. 27. Their season, however, has featured defensive vulnerabilities, exemplified by a 6-4 home loss to Linlithgow Rose on Sept. 13.

Stranraer arrives following a dominant 4-0 home victory over Glenafton Athletic on Oct. 25. The Blues’ recent results have been a mix of impressive offensive displays and defensive letdowns. They were shut out 3-0 by Kelty Hearts on Sept. 6 but previously routed Rangers II 4-1 on Aug. 26. Their campaign opened with a wild 7-6 victory over Ross County on July 12.

Despite Stranraer holding home-pitch advantage, a statistical projection from Interstat forecasts a narrow 1-0 victory for the visiting Clydebank FC. The simulation suggests a tight, defensively-oriented cup tie.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. local time at Stair Park in Stranraer, Scotland.
