Marquense vs Mixco
GUATEMALA CITY (Interstat) — A stark clash of form awaits Saturday when league-leading Mixco visits struggling Marquense in a Liga Nacional match.
The game, scheduled for Nov. 15, 2025, pits the competition’s top team against one mired near the bottom of the table. Mixco enters with a dominant record of 17-5-3 in both the Liga Nacional and across all competitions this season. Marquense, meanwhile, has managed just six wins against 11 losses and five draws.
Recent head-to-head results heavily favor the visitors. Mixco has won the last two meetings, both 1-0 victories, including a win at Marquense on Sept. 12, 2025.
Mixco is looking to rebound from a 1-0 loss to Guastatoya on Nov. 6, having since secured a 1-0 win over Municipal last Sunday. Marquense is winless in its last two outings, playing to a scoreless draw with Achuapa on Wednesday and a 1-1 draw with Mictlan last Saturday.
Despite the lopsided records, Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-1 draw. Marquense will look to its recent 1-0 home win over Xelaju as a blueprint for an upset against the league leaders.
