SAB Spartans vs St. David’s FC

ST. GEORGE’S, Grenada (Interstat) — A pivotal Premier Division clash is set for Sunday as SAB Spartans host St. David’s FC in a match with significant implications for the league table.

The two Grenadian clubs enter the contest with identical 7-win records, but St. David’s FC holds a slight edge with 24 points from a 7-6-3 record. The Spartans (7-8-4) are just two points behind with 25.

St. David’s FC arrives with momentum, coming off a decisive 3-0 victory over Camerhogne on Oct. 18. The win extended their recent strong form, having won three of their last four league matches.

In contrast, the Spartans are looking to rebound from a 4-2 loss to the Hurricanes on Sept. 27, a result that was part of a three-match winless streak.

The head-to-head history, however, favors the home side. When the teams last met on July 23, the Spartans secured a 2-0 victory at home.

Statistical models project a close, competitive match. Interstat’s game simulator predicts a 2-1 victory for St. David’s FC, while its ELO rating system gives the visitors a 53.70 percent probability of winning.

Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025.
