PREŠOV, Slovakia (Interstat) — A high-powered FC Tatran Prešov side will look to continue its dominant cup form when it visits Púchov in a Slovak Cup match on Tuesday.

Tatran Prešov enters the fixture in devastating form, having outscored its last two opponents 10-1. The club is coming off a comprehensive 3-0 victory over ŠK Stara Lubovna on Oct. 21, which followed a 7-1 rout of Čaňa in late August. That offensive firepower makes them a formidable opponent for any defense.

Host Púchov, meanwhile, seeks consistency. The team is unbeaten in its last two outings, including a 1-1 draw with ŠK Slovan Bratislava B on Nov. 9 and a 1-0 road win over MŠK Považská Bystrica on Nov. 1. However, their form has been mixed, with a 3-3 draw against Liptovský Mikuláš and a 4-1 home loss to Banská Bystrica in October highlighting defensive vulnerabilities.

According to the Interstat game simulator, Tatran Prešov’s momentum is projected to carry the day with a 2-0 victory. The matchup pits Tatran Prešov’s explosive attack against a Púchov squad that has shown resilience but struggled for clean sheets.

Following the cup tie, Púchov will quickly return to league play, hosting OFK Dynamo Malženice on Friday.
