Hungary U19 Routs Moldova in Record Fashion to Open Euro Qualifying
BLŠANY, Czech Republic (Interstat) — The Hungary under-19 women’s national team opened its UEFA U19 Championship qualification campaign with a dominant 7-0 victory over Moldova on Friday. Petra Gégény led the offensive explosion, scoring in the 13th and 36th minutes at Stadion FK Chmel Blšany. Borbála Vincze added a second-half brace, while Bori Turi, Zille Gágyor and Olivia Pethe also found the net in a match where Hungary scored three times in the first 17 minutes. The lopsided result far exceeded the pregame projection of a 5-1 Hungary win. Moldova U19 failed to register a goal. Nóra Máté received the game’s only yellow card in the 38th minute for Hungary.
