MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay (Interstat) — River Plate and Miramar Misiones played to a 1-1 draw Sunday in the Uruguayan Primera División at Parque Federico Omar Saroldi. Miramar Misiones opened the scoring in the fourth minute on a goal from Rodrigo Pollero. River Plate’s Pablo López equalized in the 51st minute. The result defied pregame projections, as Interstat’s game simulator had forecast a 2-1 victory for River Plate, which was given a 72.8 percent probability to win. Both clubs begin their league campaigns with a draw.
