Laugu United sits just above them with a 1-4-2 record in the competition. Both teams are coming off weekend losses and are winless across all competitions this season.

The head-to-head history, however, provides a glimmer of hope for the hosts. In their most recent meeting on May 16, Ghupo FC secured a 2-1 away victory over Laugu United.
