Martin Stojanov’s First-Half Goal Lifts GFK Tikvesh Kavadarci Over Pelister in League Match
KAVADARCI, North Macedonia (Interstat) — GFK Tikvesh Kavadarci defeated Pelister 1-0 on Sunday in a First League match at Gradski Stadion.
Martin Stojanov scored the game’s only goal in the 38th minute, securing three points for the hosts. The victory improved GFK Tikvesh Kavadarci’s league record to nine wins, 10 losses and three draws this season. Pelister, which failed to score, now stands at six wins, eight losses and six draws in league play.
The result defied a pregame statistical projection that forecast a draw. The teams played to a scoreless tie in their previous meeting last October.
