TETOVO, North Macedonia (March 2, 2026) (Interstat) — Shkendija opened its First League season with a 2-1 comeback victory over Pelister at Ecolog Arena on Monday.

Pelister took an early lead when Stefan Spirovski scored in the seventh minute. Shkendija responded with Besart Ibraimi netting the equalizer in the 21st minute. Ibraimi then scored the decisive goal in the 64th minute, completing the comeback.

The result defied a high-scoring projection from Interstat, whose game simulator had predicted a 4-3 Shkendija win. Its ELO system gave the hosts a 75.8% probability to win. Shkendija begins the league campaign with a win, while Pelister starts with a loss.
