SKOPJE, North Macedonia (Interstat) — Vardar delivered a commanding performance Sunday, routing Shkupi 6-1 in a First League match at Trening Centar Petar Miloševski. The home side’s attack was relentless, with Goran Zakarić scoring twice in a minute just before halftime. Azer Omeragikj recorded a second-half hat trick, while Mihail Talevski and Mario Stankovski also found the net. The lopsided victory extends Vardar’s strong standing in the domestic league. Shkupi’s struggles continued, remaining winless in the competition this season. The result far exceeded the pregame projection of a 1-1 draw by Interstat.
