PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea (Interstat) — Two struggling sides will meet Tuesday when Kula FC hosts the Lae City Dwellers in a National Soccer League match.

The contest at Port Moresby’s National Football Stadium pits teams at the bottom of the table. The Dwellers (6-18-3) sit just above last-place Kula FC (4-10-3) in the standings. Both teams have identical records across all competitions this season.

The visiting Dwellers will look to replicate their previous result against Kula FC, a 2-1 home victory on Aug. 1. However, Lae City is mired in a four-match losing streak across all competitions, most recently falling 2-1 to Admiralty Island last Friday.

Kula FC enters the match with a bit more momentum, having earned a 1-1 draw on the road against the Blue Kumuls last Saturday. That result snapped a two-game losing skid for the hosts.

Despite their lowly positions, the match is projected to be a close affair. The Interstat game simulator forecasts a 2-2 draw.

Kickoff is set for Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025.
