CAIRO (Interstat) — Substitute Fiston Mayele scored in the 83rd minute to secure a 1-1 draw for Pyramids FC against Ethiopian Medhin in a CAF Champions League match Sunday at 30 June Air Defence Stadium.

Biruk Mulugeta had given the home side the lead in the 11th minute. The result defied pregame projections, as Interstat’s ELO system gave Ethiopian Medhin an 87.2 percent probability to win. Both teams now hold a record of zero wins, zero losses and one draw in the competition.
