KIGALI, Rwanda (Interstat) — Two Rwandan clubs seeking momentum will meet Sunday when AS Kigali FC hosts Kiyovu Sports in a National Soccer League match.

Both sides have managed just a single win in the domestic league this season. AS Kigali FC enters the contest with a record of 1-2-2, while Kiyovu Sports sits at 1-3-4. Their struggles are mirrored in their overall records across all competitions.

The matchup features two teams coming off scoreless draws in their previous outings, though with differing sentiments. Kiyovu Sports secured a point in a 0-0 stalemate with powerhouse APR FC last Saturday. That result extended their unbeaten run in the league to three matches, following two additional draws against Musanze FC and Gasogi United.

Conversely, AS Kigali is looking to rebound from a 2-0 road loss to Mukura. Their form has been inconsistent, with their lone victory this season a 1-0 home win over Marine FC on Oct. 18.

According to the Interstat game simulator, Kiyovu Sports is projected to earn a narrow 1-0 victory.

Following this match, Kiyovu Sports will host Bugesera FC on Nov. 9. AS Kigali FC’s next fixture is a home match against Police on Nov. 7.
