VIENTIANE, Laos (Interstat) — Lao Army defeated Master 7 3-2 in a Lao League match Saturday at Stadium KM16, overcoming an early deficit.

Master 7 stunned the visitors with two goals in the opening 18 minutes. Tee Sihalath scored in the second minute and Sisawad Dalavong added another in the 18th. Lao Army responded quickly, with Alao Hyonsu cutting the deficit in the 13th minute. Vaithaya Sisongkham equalized in the 36th before Somlith Sengvanny headed home the decisive goal in the 74th minute.

The result improved Lao Army’s league record to eight wins, six losses and three draws. Master 7’s struggles continued, falling to one win, nine losses and four draws. The outcome defied pre-match projections that heavily favored the home side. Lao Army next plays at Champasak Avenir FC on March 14.
