Triesenberg vs Vaduz III
TRIESENBERG, Liechtenstein (Interstat) — Triesenberg will seek a measure of revenge when it hosts Vaduz III in a domestic cup fixture on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, a rematch of a lopsided result from earlier this season.
The visiting Vaduz III squad enters the match with a strong 4-1 record in cup play, while Triesenberg sits at 1-1 in the competition. The teams’ last meeting, however, was a one-sided affair. On Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, Vaduz III routed Triesenberg 12-0 on the same pitch.
Vaduz III’s cup campaign hit a recent snag, falling 3-2 to Triesen on Oct. 29. That loss snapped a four-game winning streak in the competition, which included the 12-0 victory over Triesenberg and a 7-3 win against Ruggell III.
Triesenberg’s form has been more difficult to gauge, having played only two cup matches. Following the heavy defeat to Vaduz III, Triesenberg bounced back with a 6-0 road victory over Schaan on Sept. 24.
Despite the starkly different recent head-to-head result, the Interstat game simulator projects an upset, forecasting a 4-2 victory for the home side. The simulation suggests Triesenberg’s home-field advantage could be a significant factor in reversing its fortunes against the cup-competition frontrunner.
The match is organized by the Liechtenstein Football Cup.
