The match featured five yellow cards: Oleksii Bandurin in the 64th minute, Artem Sitalo in the 82nd, Oleksii Zenchenko in the 87th, Yehor Kartushov in the 89th and Danylo Kirichenko in second-half stoppage time. Chernihiv’s season record in the Persha Liga dropped to six wins, 13 losses and seven draws. Metalurh Zaporizhya’s league mark stands at five wins, 17 losses and eight draws. Across all competitions, Chernihiv is eight wins, 16 losses and nine draws, while Metalurh Zaporizhya is six wins, 17 losses and nine draws. Chernihiv came into the match having lost three straight, while Metalurh Zaporizhya had lost four of their previous five. The two teams previously drew 1-1 in December. Both sides return to action Monday: Chernihiv visits FK Ahrobiznes Volochysk and Metalurh Zaporizhya hosts Bukovyna.
