KHARKIV, Ukraine (Interstat) — Pod Khmelnytskyi defeated Yarud Mariupol 1-0 on Tuesday in a Persha Liga match at Stadion SKIF, defying pregame projections. Danylo Serbinov scored the game’s only goal in the 22nd minute, securing the road victory for the visitors. The result was an upset, as statistical models heavily favored Yarud Mariupol to win. Both teams now hold identical 2-5-3 records within the Ukrainian first league this season. Pod Khmelnytskyi ended a two-game losing streak with the win, while Yarud Mariupol extended its winless run.
