ROME (Interstat) — A pair of Serie A Women sides looking to rebound from disappointing losses will meet Sunday when Lazio W hosts FC Internazionale Milano.

The match at the Stadio Tre Fontane comes after both clubs suffered 1-0 defeats in the Rome derby last weekend. Lazio (4-3-0) fell to AS Roma, while Inter (1-4-2) was upset by Napoli W.

The visitors from Milan are mired in a difficult stretch, winless in their last four matches. Following a 5-0 rout of Ternana Femminile on Oct. 4, Inter has managed just two points from subsequent games, including draws with Sassuolo and Fiorentina and losses to Roma and Napoli. Their attack has been stifled, failing to score in three of those four contests.

Lazio, meanwhile, had won three straight before the derby defeat, including a 1-0 victory over Napoli. They have been strong at home this season, winning two of their three matches.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, the contest is projected to end in a 1-1 draw.

Following this match, Inter will host Genoa CFC Women on Dec. 7. Lazio’s next fixture is at US Sassuolo Calcio on Dec. 8.
