SEŽANA, Slovenia (Interstat) — Two perfect Cup records will be on the line Wednesday when NK Tabor Sežana hosts Primorje in a Slovenian Cup match.

Both clubs enter the Round of 16 fixture with 2-0-0 records in this season’s domestic cup competition. Their flawless form extends across all competitions, with neither side having suffered a defeat this season.

Primorje, the visiting team, has been dominant in its cup run, outscoring opponents 5-0. Its most recent match was a 2-0 victory over NK Ivancna Gorica on Sept. 17. Primorje also defeated Bilje 3-0 on Aug. 27.

NK Tabor Sežana, however, is coming off a scoreless draw with Koper in its last outing on Sept. 17. Prior to that, the home side recorded consecutive shutout victories, defeating NK Izola 2-0 and ND Bistrc 3-0.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, NK Tabor Sežana is projected to win 2-0. The match will kick off at 8 p.m. local time at Sežana’s home ground.

The winner will advance to the quarterfinal round of Slovenia’s premier knockout tournament.
