NK Šenčur Aims to Continue Dream Cup Run Against Favored Olimpija Ljubljana

LJUBLJANA, Slovenia (Interstat) — An undefeated NK Šenčur will host Slovenian powerhouse NK Olimpija Ljubljana in a domestic cup match on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025.

The matchup, part of the early rounds of the Cup in Slovenia, pits a lower-division side on a hot streak against the top-flight favorites. Šenčur enters the contest with a perfect 3-0-0 record in the cup competition this season, outscoring opponents 7-0. Their most recent result was a 2-0 home victory over NK Triglav Kranj on Sept. 17.

Olimpija Ljubljana, the visiting side, began its cup defense with a 1-0 win over fellow top-division club NK Domžale on Sept. 24. That result also represents Olimpija’s only competitive match of the 2025-26 season across all competitions, giving them a 1-0-0 record.
