LJUBLJANA, Slovenia (Interstat) — NK Polana will host Zavrc on Wednesday in a Cup in Slovenia matchup, marking the first official match of the season for the home side.

Zavrc enters the contest with a 1-0 record in the domestic cup competition, having already advanced past a previous round. NK Polana has yet to play a match in this season’s tournament, holding a 0-0 record.

Across all competitions, Zavrc’s form has been inconsistent, posting a 5-3-1 overall record. The visitors are looking to rebound from a 1-0 home loss to NK Podvinci on Saturday. Their season has featured dramatic swings, including a 5-0 victory and a 5-0 defeat.

NK Polana’s schedule has been sparse, with only two matches played this season, both in August and September. The club is undefeated, however, following a 5-2 victory over NK Turnisce on Sept. 17 and a 4-0 win against NK Graničar Lendava on Aug. 27.
