BIŠTRICA, Slovenia (Interstat) — An in-form Stojnci squad will look to continue its dominant start to the season when it visits NK Kety Emmi&Impol Bistrica in a Slovenia Cup match on Wednesday.

The fixture pits a perfect Stojnci side against a Bistrica team that has yet to begin its domestic league campaign but has shown a potent attack in its own cup run.

Stojnci enters the contest with a 2-0 record in this competition and an identical 2-0 mark across all competitions this season. The team is coming off a decisive 4-0 victory over ŠD Apače on Sept. 3, part of a run where they have outscored opponents 12-1 in their last three matches.

NK Kety Emmi&Impol Bistrica also boasts a perfect, albeit smaller, record. The club is 0-0 in the cup and overall, as its official season is just getting underway. However, in recent preparatory matches, Bistrica has displayed explosive offense, including a 10-0 win over NK Nafta 1903 on Aug. 17 and a 5-0 victory against ŠD Gorišnica on Sept. 3. Its most recent result was a 3-1 win at SD Videm on Sept. 24.

Despite Stojnci’s current form, the Interstat game simulator projects a 2-0 victory for the home side, NK Kety Emmi&Impol Bistrica.

Kickoff is scheduled for Wednesday evening in Bistrica.
