Pocheon vs Gimhae FC
POCHANG, South Korea (Interstat) — A top-tier clash in South Korea’s K3 League is set for Sunday as first-place Pocheon hosts a surging Gimhae FC.
The matchup at Pocheon Stadium pits the league’s dominant side against a team finding its form late in the season. Pocheon enters with a commanding K3 League record of 21-6-8, establishing itself as the team to beat. Gimhae FC sits further down the table with an 8-6-3 league record but is riding a four-match unbeaten streak across all competitions.
Gimhae is coming off a 1-1 draw with Siheung Citizen last Sunday, preceded by a decisive 4-0 victory over FC Mokpo. Pocheon looks to rebound from a 2-0 loss to Daejeon Korail, which snapped a strong run of form for the league leaders.
The head-to-head history favors the hosts. In their last meeting on June 21, Pocheon secured a 2-1 victory on the road against Gimhae.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, the contest is projected to end in a 1-1 draw. The result would extend Gimhae’s unbeaten run while denying Pocheon a chance to immediately return to the win column.
Following this match, Gimhae FC will continue its K3 League campaign at home against Yangpyeong on Nov. 8.
