JOHANNESBURG (Interstat) — South African sides Lamontville Golden Arrows and TS Galaxy will open their 2025 Black Label Cup campaigns on Sunday in a matchup of teams looking to build on positive recent results.

The match at a to-be-determined venue pits the home side, Lamontville G.A., against a visiting TS Galaxy squad that won the most recent meeting between the clubs.

On March 1, TS Galaxy earned a 2-0 victory over Lamontville G.A., a team that also plays as Golden Arrows. The teams also played to a 1-1 draw in January.

Both clubs enter the Black Label Cup with 0-0 records in the competition. Their overall form this season has been mixed. TS Galaxy holds an overall record of 13-12-11 across all competitions, while Lamontville G.A. sits at 10-17-12.

TS Galaxy arrives with momentum from a 1-0 road victory over Maluti FET College on Oct. 4. Lamontville G.A. is also coming off a win, having defeated Sekhukhune United 3-1 on the same date, avenging a 1-0 loss to the same opponent from Sept. 20.

According to the Interstat game simulator, the most likely outcome is a 1-1 draw. The match is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025.
